In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.

My Review

The plot of this series is EPIC. This book resolves a few plot points that have been building and hinted at since the first book. I will admit that I cried for the last 100 pages of this book because Sarah J Maas is brilliant at building a plot and the end of this book had me having to take breaks between chapters, clutching the book because all the emotions were flowing through me. This book gave me ALL THE FEELS.

I absolutely adored a certain scene where we are lucky enough to meet some of the other High Lords of the other Courts. It was great meeting all of those High Lords and hearing about the different courts. Day Court is where I belong (but I love the moon and stars so visits to Night Court will be compulsory).

If you read my ACOMAF review you will know that the characters in the ACOTAR series are the thing that makes this series so epic for me. ACOWAR did not disappoint in this aspect and just increased my love and appreciation for Sarah J Maas’s character building. The characterization of the High Lords of the other Courts was amazing. The Court of Dreams is filled with all of my favourite people. I also loved the addition of a couple of, creatures. I don’t really know what to call them. Bryaxis. The Bone Cleaver, The Weaver, all of these strange creatures, are awesome additions to this series.

There are still a few books to be released in this series and I am so happy that it is not finished! I am in love with this series, its setting and especially the CHARACTERS. Sarah J Maas is one of my favourite authors and I will always love everything she writes.

Happy Reading !
