Synopsis

Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

My Review

THIS BOOK WAS INSANE.

Sarah J Maas has this amazing ability to make me feel intensely about every little thing that happens in a book. And ACOMAF was no different. I felt rage and love and hope and dispair all mixed inside me as this book came to a close. The beginning of this book deals with something not just human but universal that made me connect with Feyre’s character. I called a certain love interest since he first appeared on the scene. I won’t spoil anything but I’m just saying, BEST OTP EVER. I’m trying really hard not to go full on fangirl here but it’s so difficult.

This books had a perfect blend of everything needed to make a BRILLIANT book. I now understand how everyone says that ACOTAR (the first book) was great but that it gets so much better. I think ACOMAF added something real and universal to the characters.

The character development for all the characters between ACOTAR and the end of ACOMAF is incredible. Although ACOTAR introduces them and presented everyone a certain way ACOMAF brought a new aspect and understanding of each character we know and are introduced to. Even though the setting and the plot is amazing, the characters are truly what bound the book together and made it into the brilliant masterpiece it is.

There is very little I can say without spoiling the book so I will end off here with a little quote.

“To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.” A Court of Mist and Fury ✨❄️

Happy Reading !
